Shoulder Update
The good news is Cory had the staples removed today, and the swelling is way done, ahead of schedule. The bad news is Cory has a ‘deep infection’ in his shoulder and his doctor wants to clean it out before it contaminates the bone graft, so… shoulder surgery (again) at 8am Saturday.
Back In The ER
Cory’s at the Emergency Room again as he’s had a fever off and on since he was released on Friday, meaning he probably has an infection. This is the last thing he wanted as he has no insurance and the coming hospital bill should be legendary. We may try a money bomb once we know the damage so he won’t have all of this hanging [...]
Shoulder Update
Just got off the phone with the doctor and the operation was successful. A piece of bone was used to replace the part of the shoulder socket that allowed it to dislocate. Cory will lose some movement, but the dislocations won’t happen again. Heading to the hospital now.
Shoulder Update
Cory had another shoulder dislocation Sunday afternoon. After a failed attempt at putting it back in place, he was admitted to the hospital and may finally have surgery on his shoulder so the chronic dislocations may finally cease.

As many of you may know, Cory went to Massachusetts last week to attend a funeral. As you also know, his departure from Dulles International was (to put it mildly) eventful. Not a very good start to Cory’s trip. We got to the JetBlue counter at Dulles International around 3:50am. The sign over the counter said it would open at 4am.
