Men die 5.2 years younger than women, and die earlier of all the leading causes of death. For example, before age 65, twice as many men die of heart disease than do women.
Yet, where are the ribbons for early heart attack? The only campaign I’ve seen is the American Heart Association’s ‘Wear Red” campaign to [...]

Men, unless you are ready to be a father or have absolute trust that your partner, without fail, takes birth control pills, you must wear a condom every time or, if you’re sure you never want children, have a vasectomy. Why? Because if she gets pregnant, you have no power: No matter how fervently you plead that you don’t want a baby, if she decides she wants it, you’re stuck with at least 18 years of enormous commitment of time, energy, and money.

I’m not against marriage…but marriage should be a decision made with open eyes, not one coerced by manipulative ploys.

Just because more men are in leadership positions doesn’t mean that it’s a man’s world. Women have much more power than than the media and the colleges would have us believe. Women have lifestyle power: Women’s advocacy groups have manipulated the world to give women many more choices than men have.

Ever more women are looking for a sugar daddy, wanting to be a play-at-home mom, even if they have not children. Let the guy beware.

Grace, one of the regular commenters on this blog asked me to opine on why men rule the world. Glad to oblige:
To the extent that more men have leadership positions, it’s overwhelmingly NOT because of some male-erected glass ceiling. It’s because more men than women are willing to trade work/life balance and do what it [...]

Following her book, "Are Men Necessary?" I shouldn’t have been surprised at Maureen Dowd’s most recent New York Times column.
Here are a couple of quotes from it:
"You simply operate on the assumption that no man matures after the age of 11."
“Most marriages that founder do so because of money — she’s thrifty, he’s on his [...]

Tim Russert’s untimely death from a sudden heart attack reminded me of the dramatic 50+-year-long gender disparity against men in health care research and outreach.
Many more men than women die of sudden heart attack and at an earlier age than do women of breast cancer.
Indeed, sudden heart attack is the #1 cause of premature death [...]

I just read an article on
MSN
in which the author, Leslie Bennetts, urged wives to yell, nag, withhold sex, whatever it takes, to get their husbands to do half the housework.
What she fails to recognize is that the out-of-home work that the average man does is far harder and more stressful, and takes many more hours [...]

I suspect that some readers will respond to this post with some unjustified put-down like “sexist!” or “misogynist!” but I’m trying, in my blog, to not let fear of excoriation preclude me from writing what I honestly believe.
My guest today on my radio show was Carnell Smith, an expert on paternity fraud. He claimed that [...]
