Holder Hates Rights

The lamestream media told you:

Eric Holder has been named as the top choice for U.S. Attorney General, a highly qualified expert with a ton of experience and the first black to ever hold this position. It’s a wonderful day for law and order in the stellar new presidential cabinet.

The Uninvited Ombudsman notes however that:

“While D.C. v. Heller was being heard by the Supreme Court in 2008, Eric Holder joined the Janet Reno-led amicus brief, which urged the Supreme Court to uphold Washington, D.C.’s handgun ban, saying the Dept. of Justice from Franklin Roosevelt through Bill Clinton had always believed the Second Amendment does not protect the rights of individuals to own guns for personal use.

Holder said overturning the 1976 law ‘opens the door to more people having more access to guns and putting guns on the streets.’” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Holder)

This is the net effect so far of Obama’s promised “respect for the Second Amendment.”
