Several bloggers have found a photo of Barack Obama posing with several members of The New Party ( a socialist party spun off from The Democratic Socialists of America) from the New Party newsletter in 1996. Here’s the photo and caption (via Stop the ACLU):

I’ve written about Barack Obama’s Socialist party ties before. I have little doubt that Obama’s political philosophy has changed little from his days in the New Party. Not when he’s talking about income redistribution and nationalized health care. Is America really ready for it’s first full fledged Socialist president?
