Yesterday, we got a new ad blasting Barack Obama for his cozy relationship with disgraced former Fannie Mae CEO Frank Raines. The Obama camp tried to spin their way out of that one. However, the Washington Post has printed several articles in the past year confirming that Raines was in fact an Obama advisor.
Now we have a new ad pounding Obama for his relationship with James Johnson, another former Fannie Mae CEO. Johnson, if you’ll recall, was in charge of helping Obama find a VP candidate (a job he obviously didn’t handle very well). There’s obviously no way to dispute this one for the Obama campaign. And, I have to believe that Obama’s cozy relationship with two CEOs who have bilked the US taxpayers out of billions of dollars is going to hurt Obama badly.
