State Senator Hollis French, the man in charge of investigating Sarah Palin’s involvement in the bogus “troopergate” affair, is a full blown Barack Obama supporter.

I guess that settles the question of why the investigation was launched only after Sarah Palin was chosen to run for vice president. The investigation is purely for the purpose of attacking Palin to try to keep McCain/Palin from being elected. If Palin wasn’t on the ticket there probably wouldn’t have been an investigation at all.
