The online site Politico asks four Democratic historians whether Sarah Palin is qualified to be Vice President, and shockingly, they respond by saying no.
So unconventional was McCain’s choice that it left students of the presidency literally “stunned,” in the words of Joel Goldstein, a St. Louis University law professor and scholar of the vice presidency. “Being governor of a small state for less than two years is not consistent with the normal criteria for determining who’s of presidential caliber,” said Goldstein.
“I think she is the most inexperienced person on a major party ticket in modern history,” said presidential historian Matthew Dallek.

Palin, on the other hand, is a total “wild card,” said Stanford historian David Kennedy.
If she had been around for two terms as governor — or been a senator — it would have been an incredible choice,” said historian Doris Kearns Goodwin. “Who else could he have found who appealed to the conservative base … and as someone who was a reformer?”
As it turns out, Joel Goldstein is an Obama donor, Matthew Dallek is a former speechwriter for former Democratic congressman Richard Gephardt, David Kennedy is an Obama donor, and Doris Kearns Goodwin is a Democratic Party donor. This is who Politico asks to comment on Palin’s credentials. I thought Politico was better than that but I guess I was wrong.
But let me reiterate an important point. Politico is full of crap. Palin has 13 years of executive experience while Obama has none. Sarah Palin is infinitely more experienced than Barack Obama is. The more they harp on the experience question, the deeper the hole the Obama supporters are going to dig for themselves.

If she had not married Bill Clinton and hung on his coat tails she would never be a New York Senator from Arkansas, and for damn sure she would never have been an also ran contender for the Democrat Party Presidental candidate nomination.

Edward Kennedy’s lawyer who was a friend of Robert Truehaft and her Yale Mentor got her the job on the Watergate committee staff, for and she was outrightly fired for lying,outragreous behavior (tantrum tirades), unethical conduct, and Constitutional violations.
She failed her Washington DC Bar Exam at least once, so she got a job at the University of Arkansas through Bill Clinton who was already on the faculty at UofArk. She wrote her Arkansas Bar Exam on site at the University of Arkansas which was under very suspicious conditions and passed it.
She got her job at the Rose Law Firm as a political favor to Bill Clinton when he became Attorney General of Arkansas. And she was made a partner in the Rose Law Firm as another political favor to Bill Clinton when he became the Governer of Arkansas. Her job there was funneling money through Edward Hubble for political purposes. All the records of her activities at the Rose Law Firm have been burned!
Her political appointments to board positions at Wal Mart and other organizations where she really did nothing (other than to arrange for transfer of monies through the National Lawyers Guild to the Sandinistas and other Marxist Guerrilas) were always for political favors owed McGovern, Carter,and her husband, both when he was Governer and later as an ex-President.
She doesn’t write her own books like Obama does - and her editing is skimming at best, she has ghost writers and like Barbara Feinman and she stiffs them by not paying them in full even when she gets multi million dollar advances.
Oh yes, the debacle she ran for Universal Healthcare in Bills first term was not only a disaster, but, had she not been the first lady she would be in a penitenuary for deliberate misappropriation of government funds.
Her integrity is zero, as she lies constantly, like being born in 1947 and claiming she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary who climbed Everest in 1953 and was not knighted until 1955; and the Bosinia I was under sniper fire whopper, andthe lady who died without health insurance etc.,.. etc,…on and on and on.
She is also a criminal, in that she had her staff recieve bags of money in 1996 from the Chinese Red Army agent Johnny Cheung (who was convicted)for disclosing classified secret technology, Whitwater, Cattlegate, Travelofficegate, 900 FBI files at the Whitehouse, lying under oath to a Grand jury,,,,

McCains VP choice is NOT qualified to be President. If McCain(Age 72) were to be elected President and something were to happen to him this VP pick could be thrust into the Presidency. This is TRULY SCARY because Palin is not qualified to be President of the United States. The American people do not scholars to tell them Palin is not qualified to be President, it is obvious to them!

So you speak for all Americans now? I didn’t realize just how important an individual you really are. The reality is that people loved Sarah Palin when they saw her Wednesday night and she’s polling very well. She’ll poll even better in the days ahead as more people see her and come to know and understand her.
Sarah Palin brings 12 years of executive experience to the table, and credentials as a real reformer. Obama brings nothing to the table. He has no executive experience, has never run anything, has never reformed anything, has never written a piece of major legislation, and has no record of bipartisanship (he voted with his party about 95% of the time). Sarah Palin is far more qualified to be President than Barack Obama is, and it isn’t even close.
If Obama and his supporters are smart (but how smart can they be if they support Obama in the first place?) they’ll lay off attacking Palin’s credentials because all it does is highlight how inexperienced and naive Barack Obama is. Obama is the least qualified Presidential candidate in about the last 100 years.

R. West…If Sarah Palin is not qualified to be V/P how in the world do you think Obama is qualified to be POTUS?
In reality, he is not even a good senator. He has been absent more often then he has been there. I ask, how long would you keep your job if you had his track record in Washington? Perhaps just like Clinton won his state, perhaps he was elected to the senate to get him out of Illinois.
Obama is great for telling us that Senator McCain voted with President Bush 90% of the time. What he does not tell us that he himself rarely voted for anything and that in fact he only voted “present” the vast majority of the time he was at work in the Senate. Nice way of saying I will not commit to anything.
Then he claims he had elective experience when he was a “community organizer but then we need to consider just what community Obama was an organizer for. It was for ACORN In short, he appears to have organized dead people to vote.
ACORN is well known for their voter intimidation and fraud, but I didn’t hear Obama asked about that by the media? The media had plenty of time to pursue BabyBumpGate, but maybe not so much for ACORN. But hey, now that Obama has brought it up, maybe someone in the MSM will take a closer look at his work with ACORN….Don’t worry, I am not holding my breath

Oh Yea…his plans to cure all of the ills of society, well in the very least that is grandiose and that is a symptom of mental illness. One thing I do not hear is how will he PAY for all of this. It would be like my buying a million dollar home on a 50 K income. Is that not what got us into the mortgage crisis we are facing today? Problem is that the ObamaNation will make the present mortgage crisis seem like a Sunday School picnic.
