The last of the WMD materials that Saddam Hussein never had has been taken out of Iraq:
The last major remnant of Saddam Hussein’s nuclear program - a huge stockpile of concentrated natural uranium - reached a Canadian port Saturday to complete a secret U.S. operation that included a two-week airlift from Baghdad and a ship voyage crossing two oceans.
The removal of 550 metric tons of “yellowcake” - the seed material for higher-grade nuclear enrichment - was a significant step toward closing the books on Saddam’s nuclear legacy.
Those who will argue that yellowcake does not equate to a WMD won’t mind then if we bury this stuff in their back yards, will they?

non enriched uranium is reasonably safe to be around. By itself, it certainly can’t be used as a weapon without enriching the stuff. It is, however, disturbing that the media has been telling us that Saddam had no WMD program when he had this stuff lying around just waiting for the centrifuges to be built.
I’d call that clear evidence of intent
