Captain Ed posts this You tube video showing Barack Obama’s statement that the D.C. gun ban was constitutional from 2/11/08,side by side with Obama’s pronouncement yesterday about how the ban was not constitutional and how he supports the Supreme Court’s ruling to overturn the ban.
Obama is right to the extent that his statement didn’t come in November 2007 but more recently in February 2008, as he tried to sweep the primaries by running to Hillary Clinton’s left. He nods when asked about the constitutionality of the DC gun ban, and expresses his support for it by saying “Right” when the interviewer asks about it. Obama then goes into an extended explanation of how he sees the DC ban as part of a Constitutional effort at gun control.
That’s pretty hilarious. Obama apparently hasn’t caught on to the fact that in the internet age all of your lies can come back to haunt you, and everything you say is recorded somewhere.
