There’s certainly enough reason to believe that it is.
Kos is gloating over producing Barack Obama’s birth certificate. First, generally vital statistical records are not available to anyone except the subject of the record unless they have signed a release (I’m checking Hawaii’s laws). Perhaps the “Light Being” gave him a copy, who knows. But the interesting thing about this certificate is the description for race on Obama’s father, it lists him as “African”. In 1961 all Live Birth certificates contained the word “Black”, which is a race, not African.
One of the blog comments from Macsmind blog responds to the story this way:
His birth certificate looks like a fraud. It seems to be lacking in information. The authentic ones I’ve seen do not just put the parents name on one line; they have a box for first, middle and last name of each parent. Besides the information included on his, they also have the Date of Birth of each parent; The Type of Birth, i.e., Single, Twin; The Time of Birth; The Name of the Hospital; and signatures of the Attendant or Certifier. Where is the signature, where is the embossed seal? Except for the printed seal at the top of the page it looks like a fraud. It looks to clean and neat. It just looks like Photoshop.
Interesting. Why won’t the Obama campaign release his birth certificate and put all these controversies to rest? What is Barack Obama hiding?

BESIDES THE VISUAL PROOF, CONFIRMATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE HAWAII STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (HSDH) THAT:
1. Certified copies of birth certificates are NEVER sent electronically. Copies can be requested by qualified individuals in person, by mail, or on line; and the Vital Records (VR) office will MAIL the Certification of Live Birth within 4 to 6 weeks.
2. Certifications of Live Birth will ALWAYS include an embossed seal.
I just looked at the comparisons, HUGH difference!
Obama’s says “Date Filed By Registrar” and the other one says “Date Accepted By State Registrar”
I think the borders look different. I can see a line or overlap on the corners of Obama’s and not on the other.
Obama’s doesn’t have the embossed seal, the other one does.
Also the type on Obama’s look computer generated. They just don’t look the same.
Both say: “OHSM 1.1 (Rev. 11/01) LASER,” likely meaning that this form was revised in Nov. 2001 for use with laser printers, AND therefore that both of these certifications theoretically would have been produced by the VR office in Nov. 2001 or later. Therefore, it doesn’t mater if they were born years apart, Obama’s certificate was revised and should have an embossed seal.

Yes, there’s now no question that the birth certificate is a fake. And, Obama’s website has an image of the same fake birth certificate to prove that rumors of Obama not being born in the U.S. are false. Obviously a fake birth certificate does nothing to disprove these rumors. Either Obama really wasn’t born in the U.S. and therefore is not constitutionally permitted to run for President, or there’s some other damning piece of information on the birth certificate that Obama doesn’t want anyone to to see.

Unfortunately, the only thing that would put this to rest is for Obama to release his birth certificate. You can’t blame people for wondering what he’s hiding by not doing it. It will be a constitutional crisis if Obama is elected, and we then find out he wasn’t eleigible to run for the office of president.

Well, the link you provided didn’t go anywhere, but here’s a link to Hawaii state government’s webpage which clearly describes the official Hawaiian birth certifcate, and it is exactly what Obama presented. It says “Certificate of Live Birth” (so, yes, when all of these web pages gave you a detailed description of the difference between a COLB and Birth Certificate, they were just making it all up. It shows what lengths the anti-Obama people will go to.)

As for it being produced by a computer, well, yeah… Obama freely admits that it’s a copy… like so many other human beings, he couldn’t find his birth certificate and got an official copy from the State govt. What would you do? (if you look at the site I gave you, you’ll also find that it clearly describes the quick, less official copy as saying “cerification” not “certificate,” so you can’t even say that it’s not the most official copy he could get… it is.)
BTW, for all you Sherlock’s out there, if you look closely at the picture of his cerificate, you can even see a bleed through from the stamp on the back that says exactly when the copy was made, June 6, 2007.
As for the embossed seal, … there’s no way you can tell it doesn’t have an embossed seal just from looking at a scan from the top. That’s just stupid.

He has never released his actual birth certificate. He has released a “certificate of live birth” which appears to be fabricated. But, even if the COLB is genuine, it doesn’t mean he was born in Hawaii. It is possible to have a COLB stating you were born in Hawaii when you were actually born in a foreign country.
Obama’s grandmother, half-brother and half-sister all state Obama was born in Kenya. The fact that Obama refuses to release his birth certificate says to me that is probably correct. All he has to do is release his birth certificate and all these nasty rumors will abate!

I dealt with all this above… Read my posting, I am not going keep repeating myself because you won’t take the time to read the evidence. The Hawaiian state government says you’re wrong! READ THEIR WEB PAGE, YOU DON’T KNOW MORE THAN THEM ABOUT THIS!
As for the idea that you can get a Hawaiian COLB that says you were born in Hawaii even if you weren’t born there is just silly… It asks for the city — what do they do, just make up a Hawaiian city to put on it? More to the point, does this mean that no Hawaiian can prove their citizenship? That any foreigner could just go to Hawaii, get a COLB and then get a US passport and appear to be a legal citizen? That’s just ridiculous. People from every third world country would be flocking to Hawaii to get this deal.

As for why he doesn’t “release” his birth certificate… he’s already posted it online and had it authenticated by fact check… he’s responded to one stupid allegation after another… but, each time, you guys make up a new one… and, as you’ve illustrated so clearly, you don’t pay attention to the proof when people spoon feed it to you anyway.

McCain presented COPIES of his Medical Records, not ORIGINALS… and these would be easier to forge than a birth certificate, yet none of us are whining about having the originals presented to the press. Why, because it’s stupid… if they were fake, someone would have caught it…To waste a candidate’s time with one thing after another is just childish. Obama’s responded to these whines enough times…”show a BC” …he does that… “have it verified”… he does that….”isn’t COLB not really official?” he responds to that… and not one shred of evidence that there was ever a reason to question him … after a while, when the baby keeps crying, no matter how many times you pick it up, you just have to ignore it until it shuts up. His mother wasn’t old enough to pass her citizenship to her son … NO, the 14 th amendment clearly says that anyone born in the US is a citizen and that no law can be made to abridge this right.
The Kenyan Constitution says that all people who have Kenyan fathers are Kenyan citizens and, since Kenya doesn’t allow dual citizenship, this nullifies Obama’s citizenship….NO! this one is simply ridiculous… anyone who believes that the Kenyan constitution takes precedent over the US constitution when it comes to US citizenship just is unreasonable. If the 14th amendment doesn’t allow US law to negate citizenship, it sure as hell isn’t going to let foreign governments negate Amrican’s citizenship.
The State of Hawaii was taken over illegally by the US govt, so it’s not really part of the US. Do I really have to give you reasons why this isn’t true?…

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, they also said that when Obama lived in Indonesia, he lost his US citizenship…NO… people take their children overseas all the time… even if his mother had chosen to become an Indonesian, which she didn’t, the 14th amendment still ensures Barak’s US citizenship. The only way it can be nullified is with an official renunciation, made by the citizen, at a US Consulate, Embassy or State Dept office.

Look, I’m sorry if you don’t like the fact that your candidate’s refusal to release his birth certificate has brought a lot of negative attention to him, but that’s the way it is. When there were questions about whether McCain was a natural born citizen he presented his official birth certificate. There are still valid concerns about whether Obama is a natural born citizen, and he still refuses to release his birth certificate.
Obama also refuses to release his medical records, his legislative records from the state senate in Illinois, his bar application from Illinois, his college transcripts etc. Obama is the most secretive, untrustworthy presidential candidate that I’ve ever seen. He’s a complete cipher who is depending on nobody being able to find out anything about him because the more people know about him, the less likely he is to be elected. I have never seen anything like it in all the years I’ve been following and commenting on political campaigns. It’s no wonder that people are so distrustful of Barack Obama. He’s hiding far too much to be able to trust the guy.

BTW - Eye Doc…. Hawaiian Govt says that they put on the cert whatever the Parents describe themselves as… so if they African, they write African, not black… so this is really a nonissue. Also, the spokeswoman of the Off of Vital Statistics is on record as saying that this appears to be a real Hawaiian BC… So, I really don’t see how you can say that there’s no question that it’s a fake… I don’t see that there’s any evidence that there’s a fake… Can you find any?
