As you probably heard, Senator Ted Kennedy was rushed to the hospital after suffering seizures yesterday morning. Sounds like he’ll be okay.

For those Republicans thinking that this incident could lead to Kennedy’s retirement from the Senate, just remember that Ted’s replacement will be chosen by the same voters who keep sending the likes of Kennedy and Kerry back time and time again, so there is little hope for optimism on that end of things.

Since I don’t wish ill upon anyone except criminals and participants in reality shows, all I can do is hoist a double Dewars in salute to Senator Kennedy and say “get well soon, Ted… I need the material.”
