Is it me, or have I heard a spate of these recently in the news. From a woman carving the child out of one mother, to this case.
Ultimately soldiers come from the population. Since the ‘revolution’ we have been putting out decidedly sub par functioning people.

Female Soldier Held in Killings, Kidnap
A female soldier fatally shot an husband-and-wife Army medic pair and allegedly poured acid over their bodies before taking off with the couple’s infant daughter, Washington state authorities told ABC News.
Ivette Gonzalez Davila, 22, an active-duty soldier and member of the honor guard at Fort Lewis, was being held without bail today in the Pierce County Jail. She will be charged with two counts of murder and a single count of kidnapping later this week, according to Det. Ed Troyer of the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office.
Davila was arrested Sunday evening after Timothy and Randi Miller were found fatally shot inside their Parkland, Wash., home off-base. The two victims have been described as Army medics, both in their twenties, who work at the Madigan Army Medical Center. Their bodies were found in a bath tub and had been doused with acid.
Military police contacted the sheriff’s office Sunday after Davila was found on base with the Millers’ 8-month-old daughter. They told Pierce County deputies that the infant’s parents may be dead, Troyer said, and they asked for a check of the Parkland house.
“There’s not going to be a reason that’s ever going to make sense of this,” Troyer said late this afternoon. “If people are going to go look for an answer, they’re not going to find one.”
Authorities believe the shooting happened some time Saturday, Troyer said. Citing a statement of probable cause filed in Pierce County Court, Troyer said that Davila may have been jealous about an affair between her ex-boyfriend and Randi Miller.
Davila allegedly shot Davila multiple times in her bed before turning the gun on Timothy Miller while he showered, according to the probable cause document. The bodies were found in the bathtub, Troyer said, and had been covered with a substance that detectives determined today to be acid.
“She weighs 97 pounds,” Troyer said. “She doesn’t look like the person that’s going to do that.”
Authorities do not know what motivated Davila to take the baby from the crime scene to Fort Lewis. “She’s not talking,” Troyer said.
Katherine Caruso, a public affairs officer at Fort Lewis, referred ABC News’ questions to the sheriff’s office, which is leading a joint investigation into the shootings.

“We have been referring all of the preliminary questions to Pierce County,” Caruso said, adding that the military planned to release additional information later in the day.
The couple’s baby was reportedly in good physical health and was given to child protective services.
Darlene Whitbeck, a neighbor of the slain couple, told ABC News’ Seattle affiliate KOMO-TV that she knew something was wrong when her two retrievers would not stop barking Saturday night.
“I tried to get my husband to go, get up and see, but he didn’t,” Whitbeck said. “Part of me is glad he didn’t.”
