Members of Fathers4Justice, Los Angeles, http://F4JLA.org and the National Coalition of Free Men, Los Angeles, http://NCFMLA.org rallied again today in the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Park. The two groups are working to build a Father’s activist network in Los Angeles County. They intend to bring attention to the dis-service that L.A. County family law affiliates so routinely dispense to L.A. County citizens, many of whom are fathers.

Today was a beautiful day to be outside in the park. The park was far less crowded than on previous outings, but the number of people coming to our rally was equal to, or greater than, other rallies. If traffic on the street was any indication, a number of people were out of town for the holiday, or spending their day at the shopping malls.
The day started out with a bang, when a woman stopped her car at the corner of the intersection, directly behind the blue truck, then briskly approached us exclaiming, “I have seven kids and an ex-husband who hasn’t paid child support in five years. What can you do about that?” We responded in a cordial manner and gave the woman info about who we are as well as our website address. We told her that the child support process and the family court system in Los Angeles County were often dysfunctional and that the process harmed a number of children and parents. The woman took our information then returned to her car.

Other folks came by and visited throughout the day, pretty much as has been the pattern at previous rallies. The cutest moment of the day for me came just after a young couple with two children visited our rally. They had just finished having their picture taken in front of our F4J sign with all the balloons, and were heading for their van. As they were leaving, I could hear one of their children crying so I grabbed a couple of balloons and ask the parent with the crying child if it was okay if the child had a balloon. She said, “Yes,” so each child got a balloon. As I walked back to our rally, it was evident that the child’s crying had stopped. There’s nothing like having a big purple balloon to make your whole day better, no matter whether you’re the person giving or getting, and no matter how old you are.
About midday, one our members donned his acting garb and cast himself in a sarcastic parody of “the family law judge.” Perhaps, I should have said parodies as the personality of “the family law judge” appeared to change with each new mask he donned.
Each person at our rally, no doubt, had his/her own unique interpretation of “the family law judge,” but below appears some descriptions that might reflect some people’s thoughts.
Judge Thug

Judge Thug is the finest gender feminist trained judge that Violence Against Women Act, STOP grant money can buy. With gender feminist trained goons like this in America’s judiciary, America’s future is assured – assured of destruction. Judge Thug welcomes false accusations of domestic violence, child abuse, etc. so he can proliferate frivolous restraining orders and gain “brownie points” from gender feminist court watchers, thereby sadistically pleasuring his/her self-indulgent power trip, while enhancing his/her career. Judge Thug loves to hear false accusations, scripted by gender feminist advocates, so he can proliferate frivolous restraining orders against innocent men. He/she errs only on the side of femi-fascist dogma. Many a chivalrous male judge, having the traits of Judge Thug gets a huge ego/adrenalin rush, just as soon as he sees the next falsely accused standing before him is not female.
Judge Buck-an-ear

Like the privateers that used to roam the high seas, Judge Buckanear has no real concern for the equitable earning of an honest living, and finds it far more lucrative to make his living, taking his cut of other peoples hard-earned earnings. Privateers were cutthroat thieves loose on the high seas, whose actions were not officially sanctioned by official governments, but as long as the governments in power got a big cut of the ill-gotten gains, they looked the other way – much like our family law courts treat child support today.
Judge Bury-men

Judge Burymen is one of the most insidious criminals loose in American society today and is likely the biggest mass murderer in the history of America. Judge Burymen has lost track of how many decent and innocent men he has driven to commit suicide, but the numbers are in the tens of thousands and more likely in the hundreds of thousands. Through his wielding of corrupt family court decisions Judge Burymen has put onerous financial burdens on mens backs that he would not bear himself. When poor men have been unable to come up with the exorbitant amounts hes decreed them to pay, or have gotten ill and couldnt work, or some other mishap, Judge Burymen has kicked many of them towards their graves with his cruel, inhuman inconsideration of their bankrupt ability to pay. His desk drawers are full of the seized passports, contractors licenses, drivers licenses, etc. that good men needed to not only pay their child support obligations, but also to support themselves. After such seizers the only path open to many poor men has all too often been the short trip to the grave at their own hands – the last, desperate, statement of free will of many an unjustly enslaved male. Though purporting to work in the best interest of the child, Judge Burymen works in no family members best interest; not the buried father’s, not the fatherless child’s – not even the ex-wife’s – having only the man’s remains to scavenge over.
Judge Jackass

What can be said about Judge Jackass, except, Family court laws, which are not in the best interest of children, or their parents, are an ass. Though we often hear Judge Jackass braying his impractical and high-sounding platitudes from the bench, his words often have an ill effect on those expected to comply with his asinine judgments. Judge Jackass has a wide array of supposedly helpful family relations support personnel at his disposal, but alas, these “herd mates” ultimately exist, primarily to serve themselves – rather than the valid family needs of those who come before them. Judge Jackass was last seen braying his inane commands at some poor father who thought he would find equitable treatment and justice before Judge Jackasses stall. Instead, duped dad found only a cartload of donkey manure where his family and wealth had once been.
While not all of the judges in this list are above legislating from the bench, a future installment will address the judicial activist personality in specific detail, as well as other judicial dysfunctions. God knows there’s enough dysfunction in Americas judiciary to fill a personality disorder manual.
While all the parodied personalities of judges listed above may be found in family law courts, they are by no means found only in those courts. Sadly, they may be found on the bench in a wide array of courtrooms throughout America. All judges names used above are fictitious. Any resemblance to any judges name, living or dead, is purely coincidental. Any personality resemblance to any judge, living or dead, is likely not a coincidence.
A reckoning is in order in family courts all across America. F4JLA and NCFMLA are intent on seeing accountability brought back into a legal system influenced heavily by gender feminism and judicial chivalry. Presently, Americas family law system appears to exist to serve primarily the gender feminist agenda, and of course, itself.

You call this fathers rights activists “growing stronger?” With those pictures of the Halloween costumes, I have to say your claim about increasing strength seems a little bit delusional. You know you’re growing stronger when you can block bills in the legislature, not when you can run around looking like complete kooks.
If you want to even be noticed in this area of California, dramatic flair is a must. Every good member of the entertainment industry, or every good public speaker, knows the critical need of “playing to the audience” (tailoring your presentation to the tastes of the audience). You see, we just happened to be 7 miles from a little place in California called “Hollywood.” On the other hand, we were 375 miles from the State Capitol in Sacramento. In our neck of the woods we were “under-dressed” (Hollywood terminology).
As far as kooks go, judging by the legislation that appears every year, this place (below) appears to be the biggest kook house in California. The only difference is those kooks are all wearing suits, or similar attire.

Judging by laws on the books, I’m not really impressed with the feeble efforts being made to “block” all the misandrist, gender feminist laws that get passed every year.
Education is critical in getting our information out to the public in an effective manner so please get used to the dramatic flair. You will see it again, and again, and again, God willing. (personal contingency)
In response to John’s post:
Granted, John has a point that it shows real strength when you can block bad legislation.
But why on earth would you want to discourage legitimate activism by calling them “kooks”?
You have to start somewhere. I work with several legislators here in Kansas, as well as other people. I guarantee I wouldn’t be as far as I am (as far as that goes…) had I not started out doing much the same as they are.
It takes a lot of cajones and guts to stand up the way these men have. You MUST expose the frauds of family court in any way possible, and my hat’s off to these guys.

I have no problem with legitimate activism. And Ray is a legitimate activist. I’ve read his columns, and he knows his shit. Unlike what you assume, he’s not just “starting.” He is seasoned, and therefore should know better than to reduce the seriousness of these issues into a clowning around act.
We hardly look at this as “clowning around,” and will be doing more of this “street theater” to draw attention to the corruption in family law courts. Are family law judges deserving of this kind of disrespect and sarcastic parody in public? Yes, overwhelmingly.

“You can’t fight power with power. But you can fight power with ridicule, satire and subversion.”
Personally, I limit the extremes of my activism to just the “ridicule and satire.”
By the way “ridicule” is Saul Alinisky’s 5th rule for radicals, and Hillary Clinton wrote a thesis on Saul Alinsky back in her Wellsley days. Hey, if it’s good enough for the woman who might possibly be our next President, who am I to be more subdued?
These parodies are very, very mild compared to the kind of things I’ve seen the left do at rallies many times in Los Angeles.
Speaking of “kooks,” check out the costumes in this protest. Tea anyone?

We also have these words from our founding fathers, contained in the Declaration of Independence:
“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government.”
I guess the two main questions I have for all fathers and men today is:
# Will we continue to live free as Americans, adhering to the principles and spirit of our founding fathers, or will we just use their documents to cover up unsightly open space on some wall?
# Are we serious about our patriotic duty as Americans in the face of egregious gender feminist oppression or are we just paper patriots, content to express our discontent in articles and on blogs, never even confronting our oppressors?
Gentleman,
Keep up the great work… I am father suffering under the matriarchal courts in Nrth Cal – Alameda County… If you are active in the fathers right movement in Alameda County be sure to get in touch with me via me website… I am looking to move a class action against Family courts in Alameda County for constitutional violations of the law…
best regards
