Tiny Muskens, the bishop of Breda, told the Dutch TV program ‘Network’ Monday night he believes God doesn’t mind what he is called, Radio Netherlands Worldwide reported.

The Almighty is above such ‘discussion and bickering,’ he insisted.”

As a freethinker I don’t care how believers address their favorite deity; it’s inconsequential in the great scheme of things.

But for a Dutch Christian minister to adopt such a subservient tone toward Islam boggles the mind. Muslim immigrants are a threat to the cohesion and Western identity of the Netherlands. Islamists make no efforts to assimilate; they are actively hostile to the country that gives them refuge.

Bishop Muskens makes Neville Chamberlain look like a tower of strength and courage.

What additional messages of appeasement will be forthcoming from Bishop Tiny?

*Catholics in the Netherlands should face Mecca when they pray to ease tensions between Muslims and Catholics; after all God doesn’t mind in which direction you face when you pray.

*If Catholics in the Netherlands exchanged their Bible for a Koran, it would ease tensions between Muslims and Catholics.

*Henceforth all Catholic churches in the Netherlands will be referred to as “mosques”; God doesn’t care what you call his places of worship.

*Catholics should be open to the idea that God speaks to the Pope as well as to brother Osama.

Bishop Tiny is dead wrong, if sufficient number of Dutch Christians appease Muslims, in less than a generation everyone in the Netherlands will be saying Allah instead of God. Because there won’t be any more Christians, everyone will be forced to submit to the religion of peace.
