We’re not even through the first full week of Democratic congressional leadership and already indicators are in as to the direction the Democrat “power and control” is taking America.

Oops, wrong picture. That photo does however, metaphorically speak volumes to the tragic direction, a past generation of leftist war protestors, politically influenced Washington to take in the Vietnam era.. Thereby, those activist were able to snatch political defeat from the jaws of military victory. IMO, due to their actions, the lives of untold, innocent, American Servicemen were needlessly lost; not to mention the Vietnam war.
We hear today of Rep. Rahm Emmanuel being interrupted by a group of leftist, war protestors, demanding our troops be brought back from Iraq immediately, because (according to the leftist, war protesting group), that’s the issue that got the Democrats elected.

One can only wonder how security allowed those protestors to get close enough to the cameras to put on their highly despicable effrontery to American military service personnel’s sacrifices. Once again, we see America forgetting the lessons of history and committing past mistakes as it gives ample news media coverage to destructive, leftist war protests.
Although leftist media incessantly beats us over the head with how horribly the war is going in Iraq, casualties and deaths remain extremely low, compared to past American wars. The disruption to the Islamo-fascist terrorist network by our military actions in Iraq cannot be underestimated, but we rarely hear honest analysis of that fact in our leftist media. Perhaps the war in Iraq would even be doing much, much better if America today, as in Vietnam, didn’t have to win every battle on two fronts; the actual battlefield, and in the leftist news media.
News today is also revealing that Democrat representatives are presently working to completely block the input of the minority Republican representation in order to muscle through their legislative agenda.
